The Genesis and Objective

HASETRI is India's first and foremost independent Research and Testing Center, promoted by which fulfills the Nation's need for developing newer and better technologies for Elastomer and Tyres.


The primary goal of this institute is to foster development and evolution of new technologies for Rubber and Allied Industries for domestic and international markets as also to develop technical manpower for the industry.


This Institute was established in October 1991, under the dynamic leadership of Dr. R.P.Singhania, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, J.K.Industries Ltd., in the name of Shri Hari Shankar Singhania, Ex President of International Chamber of Commerce, and recipient of "Padma Bhushan" award, as an independent Research and Testing Laboratory, to cater to the need of rubber and allied industries at National and International level.


HASETRI is recognized under SIRO (Scientific and Industrial Research Organization) by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of India. HASETRI is also acknowledged by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and other universities for registration leading to higher studies.
